Powered by Linux. The new Amlogic S905Y4-B chipset and quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 CPU boost the performance of the MAG544w3 compared to the previous generation of MAG boxes. All of these technical features help the UI to work fast and play content smoothly.
4K HDR video at 60 fps
MAG544w3 set-top boxes support AV1 and HEVC codecs which enables them to play 4K content without overloading the Internet connection. While H.264 requires 32 Mbps to process video, HEVC requires only 16 Mbps.
4K HDR and HEVC
MAG544w3 plays movies, shows, and TV series in 4K HDR.3 The device plays up to 60 fps. Even at slow Internet speeds, operators deliver high-quality content, as the set-top box supports H.265 and other modern codecs.
Dolby Digital Plus™ surround sound
Backed by eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ audio, you can connect seven audio speakers and a subwoofer to your set-top box. This way, you evenly distribute audio tracks in space and let users enjoy an immersive experience while viewing content5.
